Self regulating (SR) cable is specified for applications requiring heat output to vary with changes in temperature. SR cable increases heat output as temperature decreases, and conversely, decreases heat output as temperature increases.

SR cables are supplied on reels, cut-to-length, and field terminated. Exact pipe, tank, and roof lengths do not have to be field verified before ordering.

SR cables consist of two parallel bus wires encased in a self regulating conductive core with a jacket and metallic overshield. Additional overjackets(s) can be also be ordered. Please review individual PDF data sheets for available kits, overjackets, electrical specifications, etc.

Thrifty Trace Series (TT)
Listed for use in pipe tracing of ordinary locations.

Commercial Series (CO)
Listed for use in pipe tracing of ordinary locations.

Industrial Series (IN)
Listed for use in roof, gutter, and downspout deicing in wet locations.

High Temperature Series (HT)
Listed for use in maintenance of steam-cleaned lines up to 250F, process temperatures up to 250F, in ordinary or hazardous locations. A monitor wire option is available for continuous monitoring of both bus wires for continuity.
