Constant Wattage (CW) cable is specified for applications requiring a constant heat output regardless of fluctuating outside temperatures. Cables consist of two parallel bus wires encased in a jacket with a wire heating element wrapped around the jacket and soldered to alternating bus wires. The wire and jacket are then encased in an insulating jacket. An additional copper braid and overjacket are placed on the CR cable and can be ordered on the PF & PT cable. CW cables are supplied on reels, cut-to-length, and field terminated. Exact pipe, tank, and roof lengths do not have to be field verified before ordering.

PF Series - High Temperature
For use in freeze protection and process heating temperatures up to 200F in ordinary or hazardous locations.

PT Series - Ultra High Temperature
Listed for use in freeze protection and process heating temperatures up to 400F in ordinary or hazardous locations.

CR Series Roof & Gutter Cable
Listed for use in roof, gutter, and downspout deicing in wet locations.
