AUTOMATIC HEATING CONTROLS
Delta-Therm
offers automatic system controls designed to sense snow or ice, then
activate your melting system.
DTC120
The DTC120 is
designed to detect snow or ice and automatically activate contactors
for snow melting or roof, gutter, and downspout deicing systems. The
DTC checks for environmental conditions, moisture presence, slab
temperature (snow melting model only), and ambient temperature (all
models). When conditions at the sensors warrant the melting system
is activated, when environmental conditions no longer warrant
melting, the melting system is deactivated.
DTC120-S primary snow melting control:
Contains one or two primary slab temperature/moisture sensor,
conditions at either sensor can activate the snow melting cables.
DTC120-PS snow melting control:
Contains one primary slab temperature/moisture sensor and one
secondary moisture sensor, conditions must be met at both sensors
for snow melting cable activation.
DTC120-G roof, gutter, and downspout control:
Contains up to 4 gutter moisture sensors, any of which can activate
the deicing system.
Optional RID:
The RID is an optional remote LED indicator with activation timer
for monitoring and remote slab pre-heating.
